Vacation Bible School

This week of fun is held every year (usually at the end of summer break)
and is always a fantastic time for all kids (and even for the teens and adults who are working)
We have some of the best times for our kids - each year has a different theme
such as:

AVALANCHE  RANCH

GOD'S BIG BACK YARD

CELEBRATION STATION

FIESTA!

Our pastor has often challenged the kids to contests where he has lost numerous times
with him having to do some outrageous things, such as:

Climbing to the roof of the church and crowing like a rooster!

Being arrested by an officer of the Sheriffs Dept.!

Being hit with 7 pies!

Kissing a donkey (yes, even on the lips!)

Doing the hula while on the roof of the church!

Being bombed with water balloons by the kids of the VBS!

He even had to eat bird seed and dog food for one of the contests!

Our next Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 20-24, 2009!
